El Feco B & Family album

SolomonicSound.com

Philly reggae/dancehall artist spreading positive messages.  Solomonic Sound System presents El Feco B & Family album showcases local Philadelphia artists.  Mixed and engineered by longtime TriAgency artist/producer Rob Paine, the album is a collection of original roots and culture songs over classic reggae rhythms.

TriAgency's creative resources were tapped to help create an album cover that was to look like a vintage vinyl record that had been sitting in a box and water-damaged.  We brought in Keith Krick for a photo session that really captured the essence of the idea, and then we set out to create the artwork.

We also used DOT.TUNES flash player to help promote the album on MySpace and messageboards.

Most recently, we helped to convert the video footage and post online footage of a live concert for the album release.

Enjoy and download this clip of El Feco B & Family (featuring Natty Talawah R.I.P) backed by Wareika Hill Band, live at TLA - Sept 26, 2007.

Watch out for more from El Feco B, as well as his latest protege - Empress Nekia, in late 2007!

The Philly Hip Hop Legend and star of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, DJ Jazzy Jeff is like no other.  His love for the music over the years kept him out of the limelight and in the studio, always with an ear to the underground.  Among other major accomplishments, he produced Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild's debut albums to critical acclaim.

TriAgency's original site for Jeff won awards for best artist site, and the original cartoon character of Jazzy Jeff that we created (along with Jamie Vickers) for that site has lived on flyers and other promotional items since then.  Word is a bobble head doll is on its way!

Our latest site for Jeff is the first of its kind.  Always on the cutting edge and willing to give us room to experiment, Jeff's site was the first artist site to go online powered totally out of DOT.TUNES.

Besides being able to easily update the music on his site, this means that he can update the page content directly through iTunes, by editing the info in MP3 files (Comments, Lyrics, Artwork, etc).  This is then translate into XML files by DOT.TUNES, and our DOT.SITE coding transforms that into HTML web pages.

Jeff also used DOT.TUNES to host the video file for iPhone visitors that hit his site.  Users could opt to go to YouTube, however Jeff and the director both were extremely impressed by DOT.TUNES ability to deliver higher quality H.264 video content that had not been compressed.

Watch the video below, which is being hosted on our DOT.TUNES server!
